Monday, September 25, 2017 – Guilford Free Library and Shoreline Village CT will host a free simulcast presented by Beacon Hill Village of Boston, the nation’s first aging-community “village.”

Acclaimed author and physician Atul Gawande, MD, MPH will be the featured speaker. Atul Gawande, MD, MPH, is a surgeon, writer, and public health researcher. Atul has been a staff writer for The New Yorker magazine since 1998 and has written four New York Times bestsellers which include most recently, Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End. 

Breakwater Books will be selling copies of Being Mortal at the program. Refreshments will be served.
